talk:the_directory

Is this page really needed? It seems to me that it is a bit early to have a page like this unless some consensus exists about the structure of the wiki and it’s priorities. Perhaps, it would make sense for there to be a link at the bottom of the front page to ‘important destinations’ that can be refined as things develop.

What is its intention?

— @wim 2019/05/08 16:19 I think it’s a good idea to have a “home page” for each namespace to provide a brief description of the types of documents that go there, and an organized list where people can link to the documents they create (or place links for pages not created yet). I would call it “home” not “the_directory” myself, though. But yes, cart before the horse, until namespaces are worked out. – @espiegel123 5/112/2019–the wiki's front page is the wiki's landing page. All the main content is in the root namespace. we've create a forum thread to discuss the landing page.
