I added the App Store link for Scythe Synth as a store emoticon rather than the name of the app so that readers will not inadvertently click on the link and be taken to the App Store. Once they’ve familiarized themselves with this convention, they’ll be able to tell at a glance which links are for the App Store and visual they can scan the page to see what apps are used on the page. In this way, I think Wiki Author’s can add value to the reader’s experience so they can focus on what they want to get out of the wiki experience rather than not really know what they’re going to get on a link.
