Tips for using app store icon on wiki pages.

NOTE: This page is being refined as we develop standard practices for the Audiobus Wiki and is subject to change. It may be best to standardize to using Apple's App Store icon for clarity. We need to make sure that this is allowed. (Note added by: espiegel123)

App Store Icon Links?

Accidental Visits

• Use the store emoticon to indicate there's an App Store link.

• Create very different links and visual cues for the reader.
• Immediately the reader knows the purpose of the link and can easily avoid or select it as their destination.
• As the Wiki develops we could develop our own customized icons for similar tasks where we want the reader to be able to quickly recognize the information before them and go where they want to go to get what they want to get out of the experience. Here are the graphic link formats.
• There may be circumstances and reasons why such an approach may not be desirable.
• Our creative approaches can make the wiki readable even on phones with small screens.
• We can leverage GUI design principles on the touch screen so all users are well serviced.
