How to move projects between standalone Loopy Pro and the AUv3

Due to the way that iOS works, an AUv3 does not use the same folder as the standalone app. The AUv3's folder is not visible to users. Loopy Pro's standalone app can move projects to and from the AUv3's folder.

Keep in mind that some project features of standalone apps don't work in an AUv3. AUv3's cannot load other AUv3s.

In Loopy Pro standalone:

  • tap the folder icon to open the project browser
  • tap Projects to display the list of projects
  • tap Edit and radio buttons appear next to the listed projects
  • select the project or projects to move
  • tap Move
  • select Audio Unit Extension folder
  • tap the folder icon to open the project browser
  • tap Projects to display the list of projects
  • tap Audio Unit Extension Folder
  • tap Edit and radio buttons appear next to the listed projects
  • select the project to move
  • tap Move
  • tap on the Project folder and the project is moved
